Easy Conversation for a Healthy YEG

July 21, 2016

From: 6pm

Till: 9pm

Riverdale House - 100 Ave and 92 Street, Edmonton

How do experts argue for environmental rights?  What strategies do environmental lawyers and ecojustice advocates use when striving for clean air, clean water, and healthy food?  How does a municipal declaration impact decision-making by municipal and provincial governments?

Three experts in environmental law, Melissa Gorrie, Cameron Jeffries and Jason Unger, will lead an information and discussion session.

Then, together, we will build a strategic “yes” campaign to promote environmental rights in a way that furthers movements you are likely already working within, such as healthy soils (permaculturalists, sustainable gardens, organic foods),  public health, social justice movements, clean air and water, public transportation, clean energy.

Please come and share ideas and passions:
July 21 at 6 pm
Riverdale House – small building on the right parking and #1bus nearby.

Light snacks and refreshments provided.

Please RSVP as soon as possible: Susan at 780-554-1333
